Before there were links, there were sausages, and everybody liked those. Flapjack Pete's does big business in sausages. When this "Al Gore world wide web" thing came along, all of sudden everybody started talking about links and hyperlinks. Uncle Mort hyper-extended his knee one time trying to break into a butcher shop to steal some links. Now people are buying and selling stuff on these crazy computers, and it is out of control.

In the center of this page you'll find some links that we thought you might appreciate. Grandpa took a look at these and was upset there was no links to midgets on late night cable. We'll keep looking and maybe something will turn up.

In the meantime go ahead and click on these things and see where they take you.

Woodcarvers
Look Here!

If you are into carving wood, then there's no place better for carving information than Elmer Jones' Carving and Boy Scouts web site. Check it out and order something to help the cause. Get your merit badge in carving. Elmer has been carving wood as long as they have been making trees out of it, so you won't find a better source for carving projects and tools. We take no responsibility if you plunge a gouge through your hand however.

Lulu.com Self-Publishing

This book would not be possible without the services of lulu.com. LuLu provides a place for any author of any skill to get their work published and out into the world at little or no cost.

Traditional publishing requires a publisher to accept your work based on this crazy concept called "profit". As an author in the old model, you would have to submit your work and fear rejection. They would tell you that your book is not good enough to sell, which is a far different concept than saying your book is not good enough to read.

Lulu allows you to get your book out there, even if only 8 people buy it, which is more than I can say for my mine right now. If you are an aspiring writer with a story to tell, I encourage you to chase your dream and start typing. Let Lulu take it from there.

If you are looking for interesting books to read, don't be shy about shopping for books on Lulu.com. There are some horrible books there, but there are also some fabulous books that could be the next Harry Potter or High School Musical (HSM) . HSM was not a book, but if it were, you might find it on Lulu.
